Architecture that repairs itself?

Architecture that repairs itself?

  1. Rachel Armstrong spoke about architecture. In the future, architecture needs to be more connected to nature. Todays buildings are based upon Victorian Technology. To make it sustainable, it needs to be connected to nature. Metabolic materials which exist today, can create architecture from the bottom up. For example, the wooden piles in Venice could be replaced by limestone. This won't happen tomorrow. Much testing needs to be done.
